KUALA LUMPUR: Claims on closure of the district football training centres are not true, the Dewan Rakyat heard today.
Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said the 13 centres were not closed but their focus now was on developing the national women and futsal squads.
“We want to give priority to the women football and futsal squads which have not been given enough attention… (the centres) not closed but the priority has changed,” he said. – Bernama
