MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) Sport and Recreation Club (Kesures) contributed essential items to those quarantined at PMU here on Thursday (Jan 21).

Kesures president Mohd Fadzli Ahmad said the contributions were from the proceeds of a charity drive by members and PMU staff, organised from Jan 15-19.

According to him, the donation drive was to give moral support to all those quarantined, as well as frontliners, who had been working hard to help contain the spread of Covid-19 infection.

“We managed to raise RM624.30, and the proceeds were used to purchase face masks, tissue papers, hand sanitisers and other essential items,” he said at a simple handover ceremony.

PMU director Dullah Muluk handed over the contributions to a representative from the Ministry of Health (MoH) at Block H.

Also in attendance were PMU deputy directors Mohd Sani Said and Iskandar Reduan.
