CM continues Chinese New Year visits to Bintulu

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife Datuk Amar Hajah Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang continued their Chinese New Year visits to Bintulu yesterday.

Their first visit was to Temenggong Barry Yek’s open house followed by a visit to Pemanca Datuk Francis Toh Chiew Peng’s open house.

In the afternoon, they proceeded to Sarawak Timber Association (STA) Furniture and Other Woodworking Committee chairman Yek Siew Liong’s open house.

Abang Johari rounded off his open house visits with a visit to the Federation of Registered Chinese Association Bintulu Division (Forca) president Hii Toh Him’s residence.

Among those accompanying the chief minister were Utilities Minister Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip and Assistant Minister of Rural Electricity Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
