WUHAN, China: Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg on his third day of visit to China, yesterday morning flew from Beijing to Wuhan in Hubei Province in the central part of China.

While in Wuhan the Chief Minister visited the FibreHome headquar ter s, China’s foremost global IT solution provider, where he was taken on a conducted tour of the facility and given a briefing on the operation of the company.

Fibrehome provides solutions in four major areas namely fibreoptic communications, data networking communications, wireless communication, and intelligentising applications.

This leg of the visit was part of the effort to gain insight into IT solu tion provision in Sarawak’s quest to digitalise its economy. Late yesterday, Abang Johari and his delegation flew further south to Guangzhou for the last leg of his working visit to China.
