MIRI: A housewife in Taman Tunku here alerted the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (MCDF) after discovering a one-meter-long cobra in her kitchen.
A prompt response from a five-member team of MCDF was initiated upon receiving the distressed call on Sunday evening.
Upon arriving at the scene around 4.20 pm, the team located the snake hiding behind the refrigerator of the 44-year-old homeowner.
The snake was successfully captured and safely released into its natural habitat, away from residential areas.
