KUCHING: In a groundbreaking collaboration, Timberland Medical Centre is joining hands with Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Sentuhan Kasih Kuching for the upcoming programme, “Colours of Hope: Embracing Abilities through Art,” scheduled for March 1.

This initiative focuses on the well-being, empowerment, and integration of individuals with different abilities within the local community.

“The “Colours of Hope” Art Project features collaborative workshops with participants from PDK Sentuhan Kasih Kuching, professional artists, volunteers, and hospital staff,” it said through a statement today.

The resulting artwork will be proudly showcased in a dedicated exhibition, highlighting the creativity and resilience of those with diverse abilities.

“Beyond artistic expression, the programme extends support services such as counselling, support groups, and informational resources for individuals with different abilities and their families,” it said.

By integrating the “Colours of Hope” art project, Timberland Medical Centre demonstrates a commitment to community well-being and inclusivity, providing a therapeutic and empowering outlet for all involved.
