MIRI: Scorched marks could be seen all over the glass door of the main entrance of Pelita Commercial Centre here after an unknown individual threw several lit firecrackers on Sunday.
No injuries were reported in the 3pm incident.
Miri deputy police chief Supt Sabri Zainol, when contacted yesterday, confirmed receiving a report of the incident.
The incident shocked many shop workers and patrons.
Sabri said a team of police personnel went to the scene to investigate.
