MIRI: A mysterious man from Kuching modified a microwave oven into a shield box steriliser and donated it to Miri Hospital.
The modified oven was handed over to the hospital by Tourism, Arts and Culture Assistant Minister and Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting.
“I was told by one of my friends while in Kuching on Friday that his friend wanted to donate a modified microwave oven to Miri Hospital. So I brought it to Miri and handed it over to the hospital director, Dr Jack Wong, on Saturday,” said Ting
He thanked the donor for his creative invention, and described it as a brilliant effort to help medical workers in the fight against Covid-19.
