KUCHING: The Darul Hana Bridge is temporarily closed to members of the public from midnight yesterday to Jan 1, 2019.
A press statement from Urusharta Sdn Bhd, which manages the bridge, said the closure was necessary to prepare for the New Year Countdown and the launch of the Visit Sarawak Campaign at the Kuching Waterfront.
The bridge will reopen to the public on Jan 2 from 6am onwards.
In addition, notices have been put up along the bridge and posted on the Kuching Waterfront FB page to remind the public of the closure.
