KUCHING: New Zealand’s Lincoln University seeks to provide new generations with the academic capacity to create and design solutions in the clash between agriculture, water, tourism and conservation.

The university offers unique courses directly aligned with industry demand in the primary sector as well as New Zealand’s identity of primary production, environmental management, agricultural commerce and tourism.

Students, pursuing their tertiary education at Lincoln’s enjoy a wealth of opportunities to develop skills there and in the real world.

“Just as importantly, they (students) become part of a thriving and inclusive student community, forging friendships that will last a lifetime. Graduates arrive at their careers globally connected, forward thinking and ready to shape tomorrow,” the university said in a statement issued in conjunction with the NZ education fair here on Aug 4.

According to the statement, Lincoln University is the longest running agriculturally-based university in the Southern Hemisphere, where its story began with farming but it certainly didn’t end there.
