KUCHING: The recent Molotov cocktail attack at KK Mart in Satok here serves as a stark reminder that extremism knows no boundaries and can spread like wildfire.

Jordan Soo Tien Ren, who is a special assistant for Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen said that Sarawakians must recognise the extremism that is happening in West Malaysia can easily crossover to the state due to unreasonable commonsense.

“I firmly believe that Sarawak epitomises harmony and diversity, not just within Malaysia but across Southeast Asia.

“To uphold this reputation, it is essential for Sarawakians to vehemently oppose extremist and violent actions,” he said in his recent statement.

Soo cited although it was undeniable that KK Mart had made a mistake in the “Allah socks” issue, but resorting to violence against the store and its employees was unjustifiable.

“Therefore, I urge our fellow Sarawakians to demonstrate support for KK Mart by spending a mere RM10 and sharing it on social media with the hashtag #RM10lawanekstremis.
