RURAL TRANFORMATION PROJECT
KAKUS: Seven Rural Transformation Project (RTP) documents were handed over here for Bawan, Sungai Duan, Bukit Dinding and Begeri areas.
The handover was done by councillor of Dalat-Mukah District Council (MDDM), Chuat Glong, who represented Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Bumiputera Law and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai.
“Among the projects are a parking lot in front of a longhouse and upgrading of a road.
“The cost of each project are as follows: Rumah Garit RM100,000, Rumah David RM70,000, Rumah Minggu RM100,000, Rumah Tepi RM150,000, Rumah Johny RM70,000, Jalai Bawan Fasa 2 RM250,000, Jalai Rumah Latit and Rumah Gajah RM200,000,” said Chuat in a statement yesterday.
The handover of documents at the project sites was also attended by representatives from the Mukah District Office, MDDM, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Mukah Division, the Penghulu and councillors of the area.
Also Present were Sarawak Administrative Officer for Mukah Division Peleadzman Ahip, assistant engineer MDDM Safina Mustapa , assistant engineer MDDM Nastasya Timorthy Arun, a DID representative Siti Dzarith Qudsiyah Sulihei, and Penghulu Richard Empaling.
