KUCHING: Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Dr Hazland Abang Hipni paid a courtesy call on Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof at his office in Putrajaya on Monday (Feb 13).
The purpose of the visit was to brief Fadillah, who is also Minister of Plantation and Commodities, on the role of Dr Hazland’s ministry in the state’s Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS) framework.
According to a media statement issued today (Feb 15), the ministry’s primary job of a policymaker is to plan and expand the energy sector, and ensure Sarawak’s environmental sustainability.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is the Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Ministry matters.
Also present during the visit were Ministry of Plantation and Commodities deputy secretary general Datuk Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli, Malaysian Highway Board member Datuk Adrian Ching, Energy and Environmental Sustainability Ministry permanent secretary Abg Ahmad Abg Morni, and ministry officials.
