KUCHING: A driver lost consciousness when his car went out of control and hit a tree on the side of a road today.
The self-accident happened at Jalan Demak Laut here at 6.48am.
A fire engine and eight firemen rushed to the scene of the accident after receiving a call.
Operation Commander Senior Fire Officer II Nurzainuldin Marzuki said the firemen pulled the man out of the car before handing him over to the police.
The rescue operation ended at 8.20am.
