KUCHING: Two drivers found themselves injured following an accident at Kenyalang Park, Jalan Simpang Tiga early yesterday morning (Nov 26).
Both of them, whose identities were not known, were rescued out of their vehicles by members of the public.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Batu Lintang station were deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call at around 1 am.
Both of the victims were taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in two ambulances for immediate treatment. The extent of their injuries was not known.
The team only conducted flushing works to ensure that the area is clear from any debris and oil spills.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team concluded the operation at around 2 am.
