KUCHING: A s tu d ent o f Universiti Sarawak Malaysia (Unimas) is in critical condition after she was found covered with blood from a serious head injury believed to have fallen from a dormitory in the college Monday afternoon.
The victim from Kampung Pinang, Kota Samarahan was still unconscious in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sarawak General Hospital as of 4.20pm yesterday.
She reportedly fell from the third floor of a dormitory block in the varsity campus at about 3pm on Monday. Earlier it was alleged that she had a quarrel with her boyfriend.
A youth had been pulled in for questioning. The victim, aged 22, was found in a pool of blood on the ground floor. There was blood from her ears and nose. Police said the case is being investigated.
