ANY amendment of the Federal Constitution (FC) must meet the aspirations of Sarawakians and fellow Malaysians.
Gerald Rentap Jabu (GPS-Layar) in support of the motion on the FC tabled yesterday, said any amendment should be holistic and inserted with the importance of Malaysian Agreement (MA63).
“If our rights are not claimed, what will it be?” Rentap asked when debating the motion to amend on FC in the august House.
Rentap who is also the Layar assemblyman stressed when Malaysia was formed, it was Sarawak inherent rights and pride.
“Claiming our rights back is for all Sarawakians and beyond political divide.
“So, if my friends from the PH are not Sarawakian enough, I would like to offer you my blood for transfusion,” said Rentap.
