MIRI: The victims of a devastating fire in Lorong Harmoni 3C, Tudan Phase 6, have received vital financial assistance, thanks to the swift intervention of Miri MP Chiew Choon Man.
The financial aid aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by the affected families, with each family receiving RM500 to aid in the process of rebuilding their lives.
Chiew’s assistant, Raymond Tegang, personally handed over the assistance on Monday (March 11).
The fire, which occurred last Thursday (March 7), rendered nine individuals from two families homeless. The destructive blaze engulfed their homes, reducing everything to ashes and rubble.
