MIRI: A wooden house in Kampung Lopeng Tengah here was razed in a fire yesterday morning.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the house was left unoccupied since 2005.
Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Supt Law Poh Kiong revealed that a team of firefighters from Lopeng Fire Station was rushed to the scene after receiving an alert at 7.38am.
“The fire engulfed about 60 percent of the house upon their arrival,” said Law.
