DARO: A family whose house in Kampung Badong here was partially damaged in a fire last Tuesday night received an undisclosed amount of cash donation from Daro Assemblyman Safiee Ahmad recently.
Besides the cash donation, Safiee also handed over food items from Daro District Social Welfare Department to the family during his visit.
In addition to the donation, other assistance including the repair works on the victims’ house will be undertaken under the Housing Assistance Programme (PBR).
Safiee also paid a visit to a fisherman who was found safe by members of a search and rescue (SAR) team last Wednesday after he went missing at Batang Lassa estuary for three days.
