KUCHING: Four individuals were arrested during separate police raids last Sunday for openly selling illegal lottery (4D) tickets.
The suspects, aged between 16 and 26, were arrested at eateries in Santubong, Bandar Baru Semariang, Jalan Tengah and Jalan Ang Cheng Ho here.
Mobile phones, portable printers, betting slips, calculators, stationeries and cash amounting to RM280 were also seized.
All four suspects were later released after their statements were recorded.
