KABONG: Four more rural transformation projects (RTP) are being carried out and will benefit the people in the constituency here.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) said the projects are the development of the carpark at Sekolah Kebangsaan St Paul Roban with an allocation of RM200,000, the upgrading of the cemetery road in Empayang (RM150,000), as well as the construction of the boat terminals at Kampung Emplam river (RM250,000) and at Rumah Bundan (RM200,000).

Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir was present to witness the handover of the RTP documents to those concerned on Monday (Oct 4).

Also present were Roban sub-district office administrative assistant Michael Meling, Betong Public Works Department (JKR) engineer Richat Ilok, Saratok JKR assistant engineer Priscilla Carnelius and project recipients.
