MIRI: Four women cheated death in two separate accidents here yesterday morning.
The first incident occurred at around 1.00am at Jalan Miri-Bintulu where two women sustained minor injuries after the four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a drain.
In the second incident, a female passenger was injured while the driver escaped unhurt after the car they were travelling in hit a lamp post and metal rail fence near Tamu Muhibbah.
It was understood that the two women were heading towards Pujut from Morsjaya when the accident occurred at around 6.00am.
The victim who suffered a broken left leg was sent to Miri Hospital for further treatment.
