Funniest videos contest opens Sept 1



KUCHING: SukaSuka is on the search for those with a funny bone to send their funniest videos with a prize pool worth RM600 to be won.

SukaSuka is a media platform that shares news, stories, and current issues from travel to food, tech to culture, and everything else that life has to offer in the form of education, entertainment and leisure.

They are currently seeking for fresh and comical ideas alongside humorous contents to be featured on their platform, to bring laugh and joy to all Malaysian hearts with entertaining contents.

‘Lucu Eh’, by SukaSuka is calling for user-submitted video entries to all Malaysians to send their funniest videos.

In a press statement, the contest serves to provide a platform for humorists and comedians to showcase their talents by submitting hilarious and entertaining contents.

“Ten lucky winners will be selected on a weekly basis with one being the reigning champion of the week.

“The contest offers a prize pool worth RM600 to the funniest and most unusual videos every week,” the statement said on Wednesday (August 26).

Moreover, the contest is open to all Malaysians of all ages – minors are welcome provided there is consent from a parent or guardian.

“As one of the initiatives to boost up the media industry in Sarawak, SMG urges all creative individuals from throughout Malaysia to submit their funniest home videos of any sort of genre be it original funny videos, caught on camera moments or fails and pranks,” said Sarawak Media Group (SMG).

Interested participants are required to send in their videos with duration of 30 seconds to 1 minute to Google Docs – which also contains the terms & conditions.

The funniest videos will be selected through a vote-off system via Lucu Eh official Facebook Page.

Contest period will be from the September 1 until December 31, this year.
