KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan component party DAP will be contesting seven parliamentary seats in Sabah in the 15th general election (GE15).

Sabah DAP chairman Datuk Frankie Poon said three incumbents will be defending their seats, namely Sabah DAP vice-chairman Noorita Sual in Tenom, Sabah DAP publicity secretary Vivian Wong Shir Yee (Sandakan) and state DAP committee member Chan Foong Hin (Kota Kinabalu).

The four new faces to be featured are Sabah DAP treasurer Henry Shim Chee On who will contest in Papar, Sabah DAP organising secretary Liau Fui Fui (Batu Sapi), state political education bureau director Grelydia Gillod (Keningau) and party member Oscar Sia Yu Hock in Lahad Datu.

“Among the new candidates are those in their 30s as we believe they can bring about huge changes within the party.

“We are confident they will win their seats,” he said after officiating the Kota Kinabalu PH operations room here today. – BERNAMA
