MIRI: An eight-year-old girl was found wandering around nearby a residential area in Tudan Desaras here early Thursday morning.
A house owner first spotted the little girl standing alone near his house unattended by any adult around 2am.
He immediately brought the child to Miri Central Police Station (CPS) where a police report was immediately lodged.
According to sources, the child ran away from home after being scolded by her father over condensed milk.
The sources added the girl’s father was enraged after he found out that they had run out of condensed milk.
It was said that the child had consumed a can of condensed milk which the father had kept inside a refrigerator. He became furious and scolded the girl, said the sources.
