MIRI: A woman lodged a police report last Saturday against a man for raping her younger sister.
The woman said her sister admitted that she had sex with her boyfriend, whom she befriended via WeChat application early last year, three times.
It was understood that the 20-year-old read several text messages between her sister and the man which prompted her to question the 15-year-old girl.
Miri District Deputy Police chief, Superintendent Stanley Jonathan Ringgit confirmed receiving a report on the incident and said the case was being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for statutory rape.
