KUCHING : Hundreds of members of the public brought their dogs for vaccination against rabies at the 7th Mile Basketball Court near here yesterday from10am -12.30pm and from 2pm – 4pm.

Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP)  mobilised its Sentosa branch committee to help at the venue, help with the traffic control and registration and work closely with the Sarawak Veterinary Department.

The vaccinations were carried out by staff of the Sarawak Veterinary Department. Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tan Kai  was present during the vaccinations in the morning.

The Sarawak Veterinary Department carried out vaccine injections for the prevention of Rabies at Kampung Semaba on Sunday.

Many people including those from Kuching City and Bau rushed their dogs to Dewan Masyarakat of Kampung Semaba for the vaccination.
