KUCHING: Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong expressed his appreciation towards Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg for the trust they placed in him in carrying out his duties and responsibilities over the past year as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties).
In a statement, he acknowledged Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali for his cooperation and the close relationship in jointly leading agencies, especially the Civil Defence Force (APM) and the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA).
“Today, the cabinet reshuffle that has been announced is to strengthen the administration of the Unity Government, ensuring the country’s continued progress for the benefit of the entire population,” he said.
He then added that as Deputy Minister of Digital, he pledges to continue contributing his best efforts and fulfilling the entrusted responsibilities for the benefit of the people and the country as a whole.
