BY FAMAS KAPIT: The Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Law, State-Federal Relationship, Project Monitoring), Sharifah Hasidah Bte Sayeed Amen Ghazali paid a working visit to Kapit on Tuesday.
Accompanying her for the visit were Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Dayang Nur Fizawati Bte Datuk Abang Karim, her private secretary who is also her sister, Sharifah Noraini and Datin Angelina Celestine Ujang, who is the wife of Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi.
Upon arrival, the entourage received a warm welcomed by government officials, community leaders and PBB members. Among those who received them were Ambrose Abong Bugek, Special Affairs Officer to Datuk Alexander NantaLinggi, JASA Officer Kunchi Manggom, Pemanca Yong Thu Fook, Penghulu Wong KieIng, Penghulu Sia Shui Poh, Kapitan Yap Hui Li, Kapitan Yiap Yii Hoo, SIDS chairperson Minor Panyau, PBB Pelagus women chief, Anita Kembira, PBB Katibas women chief, Rose Demon and PBB Bukit Goram women chief, Bawang Sugong.
Sharifah has a very tight schedule with members of the PBB Kapit. Her activities include attending a briefing at the State Complex by Kapit Division Resident Joseph Belayong and attending a dinner and dialogue session with PBB Kapit Women’s Wing led by Datin Angelina Celestine Ujang.
This is her first official visit here in her capacity as Assistant Minister to attend the briefing on the implementation of the RTP – Rural Transformation Programme in Kapit. After breakfast yesterday, she was accompanied by the PBB women members to visit the famous Market Teresang located along Jalan Penghulu Gerinang here.
