KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib, donated six cows as sacrificial meat to help the underprivileged and the staff at Astana during Hari Raya Aidiladha.

Senior Administrative Officer Riziandy Nawawi received the donation on behalf of the staff.

“We are very grateful to both Tun and Toh Puan for donating this sacrificial meat to the Astana staff and the underprivileged who live nearby.

“We would also like to wish Tun and Toh Puan a happy Hari Raya Aidiladha, and we hope that Allah continues to bless them and their family during this special religious celebration,” Riziandy said at the simple sacrificial meat distribution ceremony held at the Astana car park yesterday (June 30).

The sacrificial meat was distributed to 135 families in three villages in Serian, namely Kampung Darul Falah (28 packages), Kampung Darul Huda (25 packages), and Kampung Darul Iman (54 packages).
