MIRI: A man was found sleeping inside his car with the engine running nearby the Miri Airport traffic light, early Saturday.
Concerned members of the public who spotted the man’s leg sticking out of the car window at 5am immediately alerted the police because the car was slowing traffic down.
Police, coming in response to the alert, pushed the car to the road shoulder with the help of several members of the public.
The driver of the car was believed to be heavily intoxicated as he slept through the drama and was oblivious to his surroundings — apparently still unable to get out of his stupor.
