SARIKEI: Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii presented assistances to the residents of 31 longhouses in Zones G and E in Bintangor on Tuesday (Jan 9).
In his speech, he expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the residents and pledged to provide prompt assistance to the locals in phases.
He said that despite frequently being in West Malaysia for his ministerial duty, he continues to be informed about the issues that arise in the Sarikei parliamentary constituency.
The Repok assemblyman on Tuesday visited several longhouses which started from Rh Tury Rentap and concluded at Rh Gerinang Jadam.
During the same visit, he also presented minor rural project (MRP) grants to the village development and safety committees (JKKKs) of Rh Ujang Brinau; Rh Jerome; Rh Chan Min Gat; Rh Munang Lingan; Kampung Malaya Nanga Strass; Rh Angelo Ngumbang Batu 4; Rh Igol Batu 7 Desa Sungai Meradong; Rh Henry Chindang; Rh Jagan Sepasir Sungai Mador Bintangor; Rh Adiah Bungai Jalan KJD Batu 8 Sungai Mador Ringin and Lubok Embawang Batu 8.
