KUCHING: Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) will close its doors to any traitors in the party in its journey to move forward, said its president Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing (pic).

Referring to the sacking of PRS deputy president Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun  and four others on Sunday, Masing said he  had to take action as he could not accept the possibility of a split in the party.

“That’s their problem, this is a free  country, they can do whatever they want but I cannot accept disunity in the supreme  council and  Barisan Nasional  (BN) traitors in my party,” he said.

He said this when met at the compound of the Sarawak PBB headquarters here yesterday after Chief Minister  Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg  announced the Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in GE14.

On Sunday,  Entulu, vice president Datuk William Nyalau Badak  and three Supreme Council members -   Nyempah Sabot, Adriana Chumang and Edward Kurik  -  were sacked for allegedly ‘disrupting  party solidarity’.
