PUTRAJAYA: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg held a meeting with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Members of Parliament and Senators during the Dewan Rakyat session on Thursday.    

They were briefed by the State Attorney General Datuk Saferi Ali on proposed amendments to the Federal Constitution regarding citizenship, as well as discussions on amendments to the Employment Act concerning Sarawak’s Labour Ordinance.

Premier also shed light on power generation through the cascading concept, set to commence in Kapit.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Senate Speaker Datuk Mutang Tagal, Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, National Unity Minister Datuk Aron Dagang Ago, and Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki  and federal deputy ministers.
