KUCHING: An IT (Information Technology) officer watched his house being broken into when the house alarm went off and alerted him through his handphone.
The 37-year-old said he could only watch as the two masked men stopped and parked their car in front of his house at Taman Kimpang in Matang at around 11am.
One of them climbed over the gate and saw the CCTV camera. They then covered the camera.
The officer then rushed home after calling the police.
The burglars had taken his 55 inches and 46 inches smart televisions, a container of coins and three laptops. The estimated loss is over RM15,000.
Police are investigating the case.
