Limbang District Police chief, Superintendent Mohd Bukhori Saffai said the 32-year-old suspect was arrested in end of last June for being involved in drug activities.

He said the suspect was detained under Section 6 (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act (Special Preventive Measures) 1985.

Meanwhile in a separate case, a businessman claimed that he lost RM870 after being cheated by a man who claimed to be an owner of a petrol station at Jalan Kubong near here, last Friday.

Mohd Bukhori said according to the report, the incident occurred around 10.51am when the 52-year-old received a phone call from the suspect, asking him to lend him some money.

After the victim deposited RM870 into the suspect’s account he tried to contact the latter but to no avail which prompted him to lodge a police report.
