KABONG: Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir will continue to monitor and ensure clean water supply is distributed to the affected population in his constituency.

According to him, residents in the affected areas are expecting the distribution of water supply sent by the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) to be delivered according to the schedule set.

“Four villages are still affected by the current water supply problems, namely Kampung Sungai Endot, Kampung Hulu, Kampung Sungai Benang and Kampung Hilir Laut.

“I will conduct continuous monitoring and ensure that water supply is despatched to these four villages,” he said.

Chee explained that the issue of the lack of clean water supply experienced by his constituents has been frequently brought up during the State Legislative Assembly sitting.

With JBALB working to overcome the problem, he hopes that residents in Kabong can be patient.

“The JBALB needs to work hard to ensure that there is no shortage of clean water supply, especially with the upcoming Gawai Dayak and Hari Raya celebrations,” he said.
