KUCHING: Come September 1 to 10, get ready to experience a one-of-a-kind artistic celebration as Karya Badan takes centre stage here.

The innovative event, presented by the creative collectives Raktadhatu and Lek, promises to bridge the realms of tattoo, art, and culture in a way that’s never been seen before.

“Karya Badan isn’t just an exhibition, it’s an immersive experience that invites everyone to explore and appreciate the diverse forms of artistic expression that go beyond the canvas.

“With the historic Think n Tink building as the backdrop, attendees can look forward to a packed lineup of captivating offerings,” said a press release issued yesterday.

It also added that the heart of Karya Badan lies in its commitment to showcasing the talents of tattoo artists and traditional artists side by side.

“Visitors can expect curated art exhibitions, live tattoo demonstrations, interactive stations, collaborative projects, and an opportunity to connect with the artists themselves.

“The event also offers a chance for visitors to experience Kuching’s rich cultural tapestry, as traditional art forms seamlessly intertwine with contemporary expressions.
