Scha Alyahya, Awal Ashaari and Lara Alana have been appointed as KFC Malaysia brand ambassadors.

KUCHING: Celebrity couple Awal Ashaari and Scha Alyahya and their daughter Lara Alana have been picked as KFC Malaysia’s brand ambassadors.

Their appointments were announced at KFC ‘Raikan Cara Kita’ Raya Campaign launch held during the breaking of fast at KFC Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur  on Wednesday (April 21).

The campaign kick-started the union between the celebrities and KFC on a series of collaborative projects that will continue until April 2022.

The projects are aimed at creating better brand awareness on KFC’s marketing campaigns, exciting new menus, and its corporate social responsibility initiative – Add Hope, the local installment of KFC’s global initiative to end world hunger.

“Both of us have witnessed first-hand KFC consistently exercising its role as a caring corporate citizen, having been actively involved in its corporate social responsibility programme Add Hope, acting as the spokespersons for the past six years,” said Awal and Scha.

“When KFC approached us with the opportunity to have a bigger role as its overall brand ambassadors, we were thrilled.”

‘Raikan Cara Kita’ celebrates the togetherness and merriment brought forth by KFC during the Ramadan and Raya months.

The campaign encourages Malaysians to share their nostalgic KFC Raya stories via social media with the hashtag #RaikanCaraKita.

“Every year during the Ramadan and Raya months, we look forward to creating more memorable moments with KFC lovers and at the same time do our part to give back to the underserved communities,” said KFC Malaysia chief marketing officer Chan May Ling.
