KUCHING: Kuching FA squad did not face any problems in winning full points by beating Terengganu City FC (3-0) in a match at State Stadium in Petra Jaya here, on last weekend.

It is more or less considered as ‘revenge’ following their 0-2 defeat to the same team in the first-round of the final away on April 23.

The touch of Mukah-born player, who is also Sarawak’s former striker Sufizal Ismail scored twice in the 15th and 33rd minutes, followed by a third goal by Ismail Bujang in the 78th minute scored.

More interestingly, the victory saw Kuching FA broke the visitors’ unbeaten run (Terengganu City FC) after seven games.

“Congratulations to the players to achieve victory over Terengganu City FC and it was a great comeback run by the players,” said Kuching FA team manager Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.

Fazzrudin hoped that the winning streak can be maintained in the remaining matches.

Meanwhile, Kuching FA assistant coach, Shahrizan Sahari was proud of his players in earning full points.
