MIRI: Improvement works on the drainage system at Lorong Desa Senadin 1E by the Miri City Council have been done to avoid flash flood incidents.
On Wednesday afternoon, Minister for Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin visited the residential area after the project’s completion.
He said the improvement works on the drainage system, which involved widening the drain within the Lorong Desa Senadin, was made following a request from the residents on October 2021.
Lee also visited the monsoon drain next to a driving school in Desa Senadin and Jalan Promin Jaya 1 here for similar purposes.
