SIBU: It was a proud moment for Benedict Lim Kuan Xun for achieving the top 20 in the Rotary Smart Move 2022 International Online Chess tournament held on November 5.

Lim participated in and represented the Interact Club of SMK Sacred Heart which was sponsored by The Rotary Club Sibu (RCS), to join the tournament.

During a luncheon reception, ‘JasaMu Dikenangi’ hosted recently by the RCS for the outgoing Interact Club of SMK Sacred Heart’s board of directors (BOD) for the 2021/2022 term cum welcoming of the incoming BOD for 2022/2023, Lim received a pat from RCS’s honorary advisor Dr Gregory Hii Sui Cheng.

Hii also gave words of encouragement to the Interact members present.

For Lim’s feat, Hii awarded a gift to Lim, as well as an incentive and certificate of appreciation to all those outgoing BOD of the interact Club of SMK Sacred Heart.

Among those in attendance were RCS’s director of youth services Loh Wei Boon and the incoming president of Interact Club of SMK Sacred Heart Isabelle Tang Ting Fang.
