KUCHING: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked between Dynamique Technologies Sdn Bhd and Pay and Go Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

The strategic partnership and collaboration aim to grow the ‘Pay & Go’ – a game-changer in the License Plate Recognition (LPR) system – to completely redefine the parking in Malaysia to be a Superapp.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment’s Sarawak Pavilion booth in the 18th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) in Kuala Lumpur.

Dynamique Technologies was represented by its director Andrew Lim while Pay and Go by its general manager Desmond Liew.

Lim stated that Dynamique Technologies was proud to form a strategic joint venture with Pay and Go for its commitment, support, and vision to be the leading parking end-to-end solution in Malaysia.

“We believe that in order to adapt ourselves to the fast-paced society today, we need to create an ecosystem to provide a one stop experience for our users.

“Supporting our upcoming homegrown entrepreneurs and IT professionals has always been a focus.

“Everything from the customer facing Front End (App) to the back end (Cloud Solution) was fully developed locally in Kuching, Sarawak.

“This gives us the flexibility to integrate ourselves to existing carpark systems and make customisable solutions for carpark operators and mall owners,” he said in a statement.

He pointed out that other than traditional carparks, ‘Pay & Go’ can also be integrated to serve hotels, condominiums, and open parking sites.

Meanwhile, Liew described the strategic joint venture as another milestone achievement for Pay and Go.

He said with the synergy of common goals and strategic plans in place, both parties are ready to enter into the Peninsular Malaysia Market.

“Despite the movement control order (MCO), we have achieved great success in East Malaysia and we continue to grow rapidly.

“With only 18 months of deployment, ‘Pay & Go’ is currently in service to 80 percent of the malls in Kuching and not forgetting hotels as well as residentials.
