KUCHING: A driver and his passenger had a narrow escape from a car fire along Jalan Sungai Moyan-Kuching last Sunday.
Both of them were not hurt as they managed to get out of the car before the fire got worse.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at around 8.25 pm and quickly sent firemen from Petra Jaya station to the scene.
When the firemen arrived, they saw that the fire was still burning and immediately worked to put it out.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the losses are currently under investigation.
After ensuring that everything was safe, the team completed their operation and returned to their station.
