MIRI: Senior citizens at Home for the Aged here were treated to a lunch by Miri Dusum Khyenpa Kayud Dharma Society yesterday.
After lunch the old folks received ‘angpow’ from the Miri Dusum Khyenpa Kayud Dharma Society. The organisation also handed over some cash and food to the centre.
Present to handover the angpow and fund was Assistant Minister of Safety, DatuK Lee Kim Shin.
Lee praised the effort made by the society which reflected a caring society practice by the community.
He said, the assistance could bring joy to the needy and it also showed that they were not forgotten.
