KANOWIT: Machan assemblyman Allan Siden Gramong extended support to an elderly couple at Rumah Panjang (Rh) Margaret Ugak in Sungai Lukut by donating two wheelchairs.
The recipients were Mikeng Rakim, aged 76, and his wife, Inlent Lucas, 77.
Mikeng has been grappling with a heart condition for the past decade, while Inlent, following dual knee surgeries, has lost the ability to walk and relies solely on wheelchairs for mobility.
The donation was presented by the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women’s Wing, led by Belala Empawie and Florence Injan.
Also present during the wheelchair handover was Councillor Graji Layau, who is also a member of Rh Margaret Ugak’s Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK).
