KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing yesterday received a courtesy call from Sally Behrhorst, Counsellor for Political Affairs at the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur at his office in Petra Jaya here.
Behrhorst has served in the United States Diplomatic Corps for over 14 years in many places including Beijing, China, Tokyo, Japan, Sofia and Bulgaria.
While serving in Washington, DC, she worked in the State Department’s Bureau of Energy Resources overseeing energy diplomacy in the Office of the Middle East and Asia.
Also present at the call was Ravindran Manickam, Senior Political Specialist at the American Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
During the call, Masing, who is also the Minister for Infrastructure Development and Transportation, discussed and exchanged ideas on various related issues.
