KUCHING: Maxim E-hailing spread joy throughout Sarawak in the distribution of bubur lambuk at selected mosques in the city with the collaboration of the local media.

In Kuching, about 300 to 700 porridge packs were given out to the visitors of five selected mosques here for iftar.

Aside from that, they were also given Muslim calendars to refer to the time of imsak and iftar during the Ramadan month.

“Ramadan is considered a generous and giving month, where Muslims take the opportunity to donate and share with others.

“Maxim took part in this too, and the team hopes that by sharing, they will bring joy and significance to the receivers,” it said.

In Miri, Maxim E-hailing distributed 400 bubur lambuk to visitors of three selected mosques.

Meanwhile, in Bintulu, the team organised a programme with the Orphanage Complex Bintulu.

It stated that about 20 orphans participated in the programme and received the donation from Maxim.

Not only that, the team from Maxim also provided information on the transportation industry to the orphans by talking about what people can expect when they need a ride.

“It was a significant gesture of community support. The children’s heartfelt songs of welcome deeply resonated with our team, and we express our sincere gratitude for their warm reception.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their unwavering kindness and generosity, reaffirming our commitment to fostering compassion within our community.

“As we continue to unite in the spirit of Ramadan, we extend our best wishes to all for a blessed and meaningful observance of this sacred month.”

The team also held a special event at An-Nur Mosque in Sibu for two consecutive weeks where it included the distribution of 60 packs of food for the iftar programme.

It pointed out that the said programme aimed to help underprivileged people who needed food for iftar so that they could get it from the mosque.
