KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Stadium has been chosen as the venue for basketball during the 2024 Malaysia Games (Sukma).
A site visit was conducted on Monday (March 18) to assess the facilities requiring enhancements for the preparation of Sukma 2024.
To ensure smooth information dissemination, the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) will collaborate with the Games Management System (GMS) for direct reporting and facilitate a public announcement (PA) system.
The Department of Information (JAPEN) has been assigned to oversee the prize presentation ceremony during the competition.
Meanwhile, MBKS announced plans to initiate a tender process for contractors to upgrade the stadium, with an expected completion date set for August.
